Bouquets

Bouquets

I know that this is a very large topic to start with, but it is my favorite.

There is really only one time that it is considered acceptable to carry a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and that is at a wedding. What a better accessory than gorgeous flowers matching your décor, adorned by an elegant ribbon?

Every bride has different taste when it comes to a bouquet idea. Are you a simple girl who likes a bouquet of one kind of flower? Let’s say you have a great love for the beautiful wedding flower the simple rose. Bind them together and they make a spectacular statement.

Other brides like the idea of a less structured unique look for there hand held accessory. The look of a bouquet with lots of unique flowers in it is a more garden like feel. Astilbi poking out or some fuzzy cockscomb mixed in gives an interesting texture.

You can also go the way of a more structured bouquet with similar flowers in a strictly round shape. Maybe you could use roses and throw in a small accent of a smaller flower or all roses mixed with smaller spray roses to give it a little more depth.

A big trend with brides is to have their bouquet a totally different color than all the bridesmaids. Brides love to either have their bouquet be bright and colorful to match the décor and have the bride’s maids be white or vice versa. Or even the idea of having the bride’s bouquet being a mixture of many gorgeous flowers and each individual bride’s maid has a bouquet made completely of one flower pulled from the bride’s bouquet.

Simple and sweet or loud and lively, and all the levels in between are a fun accessory to your walk down the aisle. Just remember, this is one of the only times ever that this accessory is appropriate…so make it count!
